Weekly update

Because is a weekend, I feel the obligation to do a weekly update.

Highlights of a squeezy week:
  • boring
  • weba
  • sleep
  • tired
  • slept during classes
  • couldn't open my eyes
  • Slept all the day in thursday and woke up just late at night to sleep again because tomorrow I had to go to school
  • didn't touch any long hwks due next week

Well, I had planned to do my hwks, but instead I kept playing with the computer. What kind of games? Well, I did some updates and some reparations. Computer technician is a fun job to me. I call it a game because there are the problems and I have to solve them one by one. And each time you have to be better, you have to pass imaginary levels and at the end, the job is not that hard and you finish with a BANG!!! Funny stuff.

What I exactly did was to remove Kazaa (the enemy of the game) from my desktop computers because the computer performance was very slow. First I have to pass the game until level 10, where the first mission is to remove rubbish programs and spyware from my old computer. I got a anti spyware program by a secret movement, so I won't tell. Then I did a virus scan since the last scan was in June. Then I decided to change the windows theme cause I earned some bonus points. Afterwards I went to windows update and I saw that I needed to download like 42 updates! why didn't they told me before. It was because the automatic windows update was off (aha!). Afterwards I deleted old files and then update my music list. That computer has over 200 songs! Well, the repair was a success and thecomputer is at least much faster.

The second mission, which was from level 10 to level 20, is deal with the chinese computer. I don't understand a single word in chinese and I don't have idea what it says, so I use the friendly interface. So lovely icons and visual metaphor from Windows XP! What I did was remove some memory, install Office 2003, remove Kazaa and spyware. I went to windows update and it didn't work. I went to ask for some help from my contacts and they helped me, although is difficult to do when Windows is in chinese. My healthy level was dropping. But then I could survive. I then got some bonus points and I change the windows theme and wallpaper.

GAME OVER

Then I went to the G4 projects from the oldy grade. Some were boring, some were cool. Overall, my presence there was a waste. I could go to do my hwks...

...Oh, no! Hwk is not done yet! whatever. I will improvise a excuse. And I had a spanish oral. I didn't got nervous but the powerpoint presentation sucked. A lot of mistakes. I hope I get a good mark.

Whatever. I did some christmas decoration at my home. Hwks can wait. There is a house near mine that is totally full of Christmas lights and is like wow! I would take a picture one day so I can show. But that house and others house from that same street are full of lights. Enough to light a room full of readers.

Have a happy Chrismukkah (vocabulary taken from the OC)

Java and me

Java and I are meant to be together! Is because JESSICA stands for Java-Enable Single-System-Image Computing Architecture.
I will pay more attention to Java from now on. Java told me "JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, "I am the best programming stuff ever", Java is the best", JOptionPane.INFORMATION_MESSAGE);

Funny stuff

Because you and I love funny stuff, and Christmas is coming, then let's sing (songs are from http://www.funny-stuff-central.com/):

(Sung to the tune "Deck The Halls")
Deck the malls this Christmas season,
fa la la la la, la la la la
Blow your cash for no good reason,
fa la la la la, la la la la
Push your charge card to it's limit
fa la la, la la la, la la la
Your check book now has nothing in it.
fa la la la la, la la la la.

(Sung to the tune "Jingle Bells")
Dashing through the snow in my rusty Chevrolet.
Down the road I go, sliding all the way.
I need new piston rings. I need some new snow tires.
My car is held together by a piece of chicken wire!
Oh, rust and smoke, the heater's broke, the door just blew away.
I light a match to see the dash and then I start to pray-ay.
The frame is bent, the muffler went, the radio's okay.
Oh, what fun it is to drive this rusty Chevrolet!
I went to IGA to get some Christmas cheer.
I just passed up my left front tire and it's gettin' hard to steer.
Speeding down the highway, right past the county cops.
I have to drag my swampers just to get the car to stop.
Oh, rust and smoke, the heater's broke, the door just blew away.
I light a match to see the dash and then I start to pray-ay.
The frame is bent, the muffler went, the radio's okay.
Oh, what fun it is to drive this rusty Chevrolet!
Bouncing through the snowdrifts in a big, blue cloud of smoke.
People laugh as I drive by; I wonder what's the joke!
I have to get to Wal-Mart to pick up my layaway,
Cause Santa's comin' soon in his big, old, rusty sleigh!
Oh, rust and smoke, the heater's broke, the door just blew away.
I light a match to see the dash and then I start to pray-ay.
The frame is bent, the muffler went, the radio's okay.
Oh, what fun it is to drive this rusttttttttty Chevroooooooleeeeeet!

Hate and Pain

Don't you feel that every Cal there is at least a week where everything goes wrong? Stress, projects, homework, no time to sleep, bad grades, exams. Well, I have started to feel that way and it sux. Today and all week was very stressful and anyway I get a bad grade. Not only school is wrong. My social life is tearing apart. I feel that people hate me, they ignore me and everything. Nodding politely is not the way to survive. Are people wrong or is it just me? I must admit that I am kind of stupid the way I act to things so I take part of the blame.

What's wrong, what's wrong now?
Too many, too many problems,
don't know where she belongs,

where she belongs.
Avril Lavigne song

I wish this ends. That is my first wish on this Christmas. But obviosly it won't end. So my new wish is to have a home theatre and watch The Ring. That would be so cool.BUAWAWAHAHAHAAH. Sometimes we need some humour in these difficult situations.

You reader, you are so lame. Can't you answer the riddle? The man that walks in the bar has hipo. Yeah, that thing that is really annoying and you need to drink some water to stop it. The barman pulls out a gun, scaring the man, and this also can stop the hipo. Yeah! It was kind of difficult that riddle so don't look dissapointed if you answered that the barman hates people who ask for free water.

Give me a hammock, please!

Thanksgiving- part 2

I owe more thanks that I can think about, especially to God, for doing this infinite amazing things for me. Also I owe thanks to everyone who supports me every time.

All right, the post ends here. I do not have all day to write. Sorry.

Now playing: More than words, from anonymous. Many people sing it and I don't even know who originally sang it first. But I know Westlife made a cover of it. I think the song should also say "More than words are needed to describe your wonders, my Lord". Stupid love songs. They just focus on one person.

Empowerment day

Oh, I forgot to comment on the empowerment day (20/11/04), that sometimes I mistake it as "empowderment day" cause they break you down into powder.

Empowerment day consists of a diverse set of games, both physically and mentally challenging.
But they didn't work on me. I was already extremely powerful.

Honestly I enjoyed doing those activities, where we were challenged to cook, pretend we were people who had an accident on the bus, cross the pond, cross the swimming pool, cross a spider web, pretend we crashed on the moon, make a house blindfolded, construct one of those techos that they were last year in the cafeteria, use a compass, sin bins, and lots more.

Really stupid too. I suggest never put an empowerment day the same day as an important football match, because you'll see how desperate people are when they want to watch the match.

The most funny stuff: my sister was in the same group as I was. But it was actually very cool.

At the end of the empowerment day, crazy people watched the match. My football team lost with a dissapointing result. Then when we were leaving school, my sister and I raced with a funny, slow, little, red car. We were winning but they reached us afterwards. But at the end we won, so bonus point to my team should be awared. My team's name was Mongols. Sounds funny, ehh?

The school website has a lot of pics so check them out. Even though our team lost, we were actually the best. Pictures are in here.

News that happen lately at school: a new reality show is at school. Yeah! There is a video camera outside la clase de la Angulo. There is where all the IB students have their lockers and that is where valuable objects are stored, such as laptops. Why did they install that camera? Is for security since a laptop was stolen from a locker. But the funny thing is that the first day they installed the camera, people did not have idea it was there so they did their normal things. That is a true reality show.

Yeah, apart from stressful stuff, school has funny stuff. Yeah, funny stuff.

Think lateral

My recent hobby: lateral thinking puzzles.

What are they? Well, here is an example:

A man walks into a bar and asks the barman for a glass of water. The barman pulls out a gun and points it at the man. The man says 'Thank you' and walks out.
Can you figure out why?

This kind of puzzles need a lot of thinking and in a lateral way. I will later post the solution but think about it.

Thanksgiving

Even though I am not an American, thanksgiving reminds me of how grateful I am with the Lord and all the things He has done for us.

To Chieh (if you are not her, don't need to read it): You are a cool sister. I miss you so badly. You were different from the rest and that was cool (well, all friends are different). Thanks for stopping by in this blog. And thanks fro your comment in the Yahoo group. Doesn't matter if you don't have a blog account. Next year, when Cindy goes to Taiwan, I will send you with her your genuine IGCSE certificate and more! You are working very hard and God bless you!

Lastly, I want to thank everyone who are reading is. Every word you are reading from this sentence is a big applause from me to you.

I thank to the Lord and His Family.

Finally

Finally I got my IGCSE certificate. It has a new look and looks more genuine that the ones of previous years. I couldn't stand to hear so many A's from a lot of nerdys but we as a class did excellent.

Okay, my IGCSE course is finally ended cause I now have the certificate. But there are a lot of things I'll never forget from that course:
  • I could see how many things the human mind is able to do
  • I could see that Mr. Morgan's teaching is very entertaining
  • I learned how to get well with teachers since we are becoming older and we leave our childhood days behind
  • I learned to procrastinate
  • I began to sleep in the afternoons
  • I got to know Chieh very well

It was a good 2-year course. I hope the IB is the same.

Today in assembly, they mentioned Chieh's name and it really hurts me her absence. I sometimes imagine what would happen if you were still here. She would be having chemistry with Mr. Morgan, Economics with Mr. Murgatroyd and Art with la Angulo. And then some 2 free periods a week. I don't know if her life would be better here or there.

Anyway, in the assembly they also did a little performance of the Little Mermaid by the juniors. There was this girl that sang so good and so professional. Her voice was so sweet that it even hurt my teeth. Whatever your name is girl, CONGRATULATIONS!! Also the other members of the cast did a lame dance, but still they looked so cute!

Also thanks to Karen, which has always been so nice (not really) but she is a very good friend. Karen, you'll always count with me anytime and God bless you! You are so special to me!

Things!

Horrible things that are hard to forget:
  • Friends that betray you
  • Traumatizing experiences
  • A friend that hurt your friends for no good reason (or just to benefit himself/herself?)
  • Accidents
  • Deaths from someone you love
  • The Titanic sank
  • I fell from the bicycle when I was young
  • A discussion with a friend
  • Seeing a friend crying
  • Being ignored by your friends (or things!)
  • The moment that you first believed in Christ, you discovered that you were a sinner

Bad things happen in our lives, but we have to deal with them. You got Christ beside you, so you can defeat them. Take out a laser sword and give your best swing. I know that it will take you some time to do it but you got to keep strong.

I have a plenty more but they seemed that they don't want to pop out cause they don't want to get the blog dirty. This is a clean blog. And I should be happy about it.

Remember, every word you are reading from this sentence means nothing. Can you see how I made a fool like you read this nonsense sentence. GAL.

Gloopy

Time is the best healer. But getting older will eventually kill you.

I have just seen Smallville (Clark Kent's young days) and guess what? At the end, it was dedicated to Christopher Reeve, the man that make us believe that humans can fly. jajajaja.
I was like cooooool! Maybe these superheros make us believe we are invencible sometimes. I always watch Smallville. So I have to hit myself everyday to remind me that I am mortal and not someone with powers. Jesus is the only superhero cause he was even more powerful than death. Yeah!
In the picture above, we can see young Clark, Lana (teen love), and Lex. Where is Louise? As a matter of fact, Clark did have a first crush on Lana and later on the other woman. Smallville has started to put Louise in the new season. So stay tuned to see the weird things in Smallville and don't fall from the roof believing that you can fly, cause you are mortal. Be glad about it! Posted by Hello

Here is a picture of the artists that have contributed in this blog by singing. The first is a woman called Sade wich sang "By your side", a slow romantic song whic really fooled me because I thought a man sang it. I don't know too much about her but I can say that the second guy is Obi Wan Kenobi's (Star Wars actor), Ewan Mcgregor. How can Obi Wan sing, if he is just an actor? Well he actually sang the song "Your song" in the Moulin Rouge Musical film. Yeah! By the way, some media say that Ewan will be the next James Bond. Look closely at his face, because he is now singing. Ignore the woman next to him. His singing is not bad considering he is a scottish actor. Posted by Hello

Blah!

I hate stupid slow love songs.

I changed the song to a more romantic tune. This is how love songs should be!

Friday, November 19, 2004

Hello??!?!?

First prize winner:
Since lately you have been unable to collect your prize, do so!

I'll give you a week. Otherwise, next Friday, the prize will be given to someone who really needs it.

The prize sucks, anyway. Is not a big deal. But the important thing is that I made it. Is not something I bought.

I think that is better to give to your friends, family, boyfriend or girlfriend things you made, am I right?

Inhumanity

Another controversy in my spanish class. Terrorism is becoming more popular and popular in this century. And there was this guy who presented today. He started to show this video and I thought it was the one of the twin towers. Cool. But then I saw like 5 iraquis sanding, with their face covered and reading something in their language. Blah, blah, I thought that they were saying "take away your stupid soldiers from here, gringos". And they finished. Then it came the awful and inhuman part. I knew what was going to happen. My heartbeat went faster. Sweat was coming out in chorros. I remembered when my computer teacher told us that someone send her that same kind of video by email and she saw it, but couldn't sleep last night. Okay. If you don't want to read, stop! Because I am going to write what I saw in red. If you don't want to read it, skip the red part! I warned you. Anyway, my english is not so good for you to help imaging it.

The iraquies stopped talking. The one who holded a paper with the speech folded it slowly. There was this gringo man, Nicolas Berger or whatever his last name is spelled, that was kneeling in front of the iraquies. While the irquies were talking his face seemed normal, cause the video was not clear anyway. But I knew what was going through his mind. He was living his last minutes thinking of how painful it would be for his family. He was remembering all his life from a baby to his engineering career which situated him in Iraq (this do not appear in the video, though).
One iraqui took his knife out or whatever he used to separate the head of Nicolas from his body. Another iraqui grabbed Nicolas black hair. I could hear Nicolas scream from inside (in my imagination). The knife approached Nicolas neck. Remember when someone cuts your head, they do it by cutting the part down your chin, and not in the middle of the neck. Nicolas then falls into the floor, so the iraquies can cut the head more easily. He started to yell NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! In the video, you could hear it clearly. My heart started to beat faster. NOOOOOOO!! More screams!
The iraqui could cut half the part he was supposed to cut and that is where the screaming ended. Then the iraquis had to snap the head from the backbone and finish the cutting. Then the cutter lifted the head. I could not see clearly if Nicolas' eyes were still opened. But my heart was beggining to slow down.

Actually, the video was transmitted in an Iraqui channel.
Nicolas' family did see it. I remember in the newspaper their family hugging themselves and crying. Even the father, for those who think that men do not cry.

Fear.

Life is full of fear. Earth is not a safe place. I think that I could be the one taking Nicolas' place. But I think that it would not hurt me so much. I mean, the ones who would be really hurt are people who care about me. Like Nicolas' family. They were so heartbroken. I still think that it would hurt me most if someone I care dies than me dying.

War is stupid. Is just ambition what people want. Etc, etc, etc.

But what God is trying to show with war is that no human is going to protect you. Only God is salvation. Imagine, Jesus defeated death and raised again to Heaven. That means he is the only one who can take you to Heaven cause he is powerful.

God, stay by my side all the time.

Sick week

This week was not sick. I was the one who was sick, really. This weather has given me a flu but I look at it in a nice way. I receive the change of weather in a cool way. Getting sick

This week I decided to post something in the Yahoo groups because not many people reach my blog. My imagination took away and I made the Yahoo group be personificated in shape of a doctor. That was crazy.

This week was weird too. People reacted weird towards me and I answer weird to them too...

By the way, Chieh, my old friend, I read your post! It requires a lot of effort to preach to someone that hard. But she is not that hard. Everything is possible to God. Could you believe that I was watching CNN (don't ask why) and they were talking about Chrisitianity in USA. There was this family that were really happy being christians and their daughter was just 3 years old when she received Jesus. The interviewer asked "What does it requires to receive Christ?" and the girl, now 8 years old, answered "that we are sinners and we need Jesus". She is really smart!

We all need Jesus and nothing else!!

In friday, there was this girl in spanish class talking about abortion in spanish presentation. Then she showed us a video, very cruel video. It was so CRUEL the way a fetus is taken away from inside and how he came out in bloody little pieces outside the mother. Those images horrorized me and I was thinking "I want to watch The Ring better". There is another way to abort a baby and that is by taking out the amniotic fluid and insert some saline solution into the fetus that burns his/her skin. Then the result is a tanned fetus but dead. Do you believe that Kerry was supporting that. And Bush kind of. But still, man and rapers should take a look at this video. In fact, the Bible says that God know us since we are inside out mother. So I call that murder. To tan a fetus.

Las week was California. This week is a stupid love song. Do you believe that a woman sings it?

Starry sky

Not only you blew the clouds for me too see the clear sunset
But also to enjoy the starry sky you have presented me, Lord.

Wow, last night was awesome. Not a cloud in the sky. The wind blew them all!I just gaze to the sky because I am kind of interested in astronomy. The clear sky revealed many brilliant and tiny stars. Like the ones that you see in the beach's sky. I saw that stars and other God's creations make us look unsignificant. But all of these are gifts from God. Appreciate it.

Maybe tonight is going to be starry again. Check the sky and wear a sweater, because is freezing outside. Brrrrr! And if you have binoculars, you will get to appreciate the starry sky. You are lucky if you have a telescope so you can study them.

Okay, I have to go back to work in Compu class.

Just forgot...

...but I will never forget that God is my never ending wind. As a wind, he is everywhere.

This is what I forgot: To mention the winner. Only two participants but one did an exact guess.

The answer was: 4 exams

Okay winner, I have your prize. Collect it from me tomorrow. The prize is a cassette full of Spongebob episodes. MUUAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
But I changed it. Don't worry.

"In writing, I have no talent. Inspiration is what moves me" me, in reference to my writing.

And First Place Winner: I love how you write :D

One of the best afternoon ever

And you know why? Why did Tuesday 9 of November of 2004 was a peaceful afternoon? Because I didn't go to CAS! Yes! Is not because I am mala or something with the CAS children but because CAS is boring and exahusting. I didn't go to CAS cause I didn't want to so I went to punch the bus's windows, take the air off the tyres, burn the motor...yeah, I was just joking. The bus did descomponer with no reason.
At the end of the afternoon I ate a free Baked Potatoe from Wendys. I don't know what I did to deserve this. I also ended by having Photoshop and Office 2003 installed into my laptop. Yeah!

The wind

The wind

Started to be windy and cold,
This is the way morning said hello.
The wind is strong, strong like You, Lord
which is capable of blowing out the rain away
so I am no longer wet.

Now you bring me with the orange sunset
which lies fairly on the mountains
all out my window, which I gaze in awe.

Lord, you are like this wind,
which lifts me up when I fall.
I am like a charcoal to society
But you are the wind that keeps my fire on
when is about to end.

Take note:
"The third world is dying of starvation while the first and the second are dying of cholesterol"

Have a nice day!

Nice week coming, ugly week coming afterwards

I am in a temporary happiness. Yeah, I know vacations are coming for just one week but what is the point if more school is coming afterwards? This is a circulo vicioso. We are so paralysed. Paralysed as a reference to Joyce. But I am finally understanding Joyce. He is an elite writer, who hides things and you need to find them. His book "Dubliners" is kind of cool. But I do not really recommend it...

Anyway, here are the highlights of the week at Lemon Flash:

Lemon flash
  • Started the week cooly, knowing that next week everything is going to be pura playa
  • I knew some of my cal grades, and they were disappointing. I reflect no effor in this cal.
  • I got traumatized with the spiderman game boy advance game
  • TOK elections this year were kind of dissapointing. No party deserved any votes if you critisize them as if they were really going to take over El Salvador is real life. There were people that individually did excellent, but as a group, they suck
  • So busy in the afternoons so no team this week
  • The first Guess Game was held and there were no first place winners
  • Went to my friend's house to fregar and then to an open party held by the class of 2006. I highly recommend you not to go to the parties where they say : ALL YOU CAN DRINK!

I kind of feel nervous now. I did so badly in my first IB cal. If I get more than an 8.00, I will be so lucky! But a good grade just gives me temporary hapiness. God is the only one able to give you the eternal happiness :D.

Okay, I will held my second Easy&Squeezy Guessing Game (I decided to call it like that)! But it will not be about my grades. Guess how many exams I had in the week from the 25th to th 29th. There are no clues available because it is a very easy guess. I have written down the number of exams somewhere so you don't call me a cheater. Okay, I have just one clue available : This were the last days of Cal 1. Got it? Send me a comment or email then! No more clues are going to be given. The last day to post your guess is on the 5th of november. you can only guess once. There will be a first winner prize and booby prizes if no one wins the first plaze prize. Losers get nothing. This guessing game is sponsored by Peasy Squeezy Company!

HAVE FUN AND GOD BLESS YOU! HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO GIVES YOU THE ETERNAL HAPINESS NEXT TO HIM.

Did you know that I also heard "EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY" phrase in Austin Powers in Goldmember film.

PS. Post your guesses!

No winners!

There are no winners in my guess game. So no one gets the winning prize. Too bad I am not sad is casting over, is just one of those things you'll have to get over it!

However, there was someone who adventure for a guess. And it was kind of close. The person identified as K took the guess and said 24%. But this is my actual grade:

29%

Pretty close but no cigar. But, since you were the closest guess to the actual grade, and the only participant of this first Guessing game organized by the Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy Blog, you get a booby prize. The booby prize will be sent to your email, so check it!

To other people that did not participate: Too bad, you missed it! I'll do another guessing game next year when I fail another maths test or when I feel like doing one. So stay tune!

Maths Higher and lunar eclipse

Maths higher: the worst subject I got so far. Everyone failed the 2nd cal test except 3 people. Not fair. Against the school laws. I don't know how much I got, but I have to take it in consideration that I failed. I was more afraid that I would be the worst grade and Miss Bradburn was going to see seriously and talk to me since I look like the worst in the classroom. Well, in fact I am really slow in participating cause my mental maths suck and I am just really bad. I can't work with many numbers. I can only work with binary code cause there are only two digits.
Well, I am doing a guess game. Guess my maths exam grade. Who guesses it right, gets a prize. Here are some things I have in mind so you can predict my grade:
  • I am not the lowest grade. The lowest grade was 6%
  • I am not the highest either. The highest was 60 something from the other maths higher group
  • The second highest mark was 54%
  • In my maths higher group, everyone failed. The highest was a 43% and that person told me "pase con orgullo" :S
  • I did fail. The pass bound is 45%

So this is my guess:

18%

And don't say that I am exaggerating. I know I got that. I was doing the test, not you. You know what I was thinking instead of looking at the freaky questions? thinking of going to maths methods and take biology higher. JAJAJA. Well, what was the purpose of answering the question which answer I did not know?

CLACK, CLACK. UNITED NATIONS! COUNTRY: NEW ZEALAND. Bien cholero nos esta quedando la clase. Es la de Jenner. Today I stayed to decorarla cause it had nothing of decoration. So I had to skip fellowship (team). Que hueva. New Zealand is a beatiful country. I would like to go and visit Wellington.

Whatever. Today I played football. I slipped with another girl for a ball and tried to make a goal. Impossible. We lose, Incas. Mayas had a girl from the football team. Not fair. I haven't practise my football for a long time. But the ball hit me a couple of times, which made me react. At the end, everyone said I did play pretty good. Yeah! I also got 10 in my PE project. More yeah!

Tonight is the lunar eclipse. Go and enjoy it. I hope the clouds to not block.

After all these bad things that happens in your life, it makes the Lord look more precious. Look things in a good way. The cal is going to get over tomorrow. But the love of the Lord will never end. I recomend you to go to watch the eclipse, and see the wondeful work of the Lord for you. He is always there for you.

PS. Post your guesses. Tomorrow I will find out my grade :S.

A week

This week was generally soft. Not that soft. I got pissed off with my grades. Not just me, also a friend of mine. He or she also has other problems, so I hope you can solve them ;).

Well, I have just returned from the wedding of the cousing from my cousins. It was kind of boring to me since I only knew like 5% of the people. There was no discotteque and as always, there was a delay of giving the dinner. Dinner was not that excellent since they always put that hard meat. Then people began making what they call "Carnival". They just put a mask, played some maracas and blow some whistles. The carnival could have been more exciting if a discotteque was there. My family did not want to stay no longer, so when we were leaving, they were serving coffee. I don't like coffee. It burns my stomack and makes my breath stink. How can people become addicted to it? Funny thing is that we gave to the newlyweds a cafetera as the wedding gift. Salvadoriansa and Americans love coffee by the way, but I am more Chinese because I like tea more. We did not stay to eat the wedding cake and I did not even had a chance to congratulate the newlyweds. So congratulations! Long live and prosper.

I did not have time to dress for the wedding because me valio. I woke up around 7 and my mum was urging me to change. I did not really had a dress. So I just grab one of my old sister and change and I looked horrible. Lucky that I do not have pictures and I forgot to take a camera for my others sisters to see what they are missing.

People are marrying so quick and young. What is the rush? I have no plans to marrying so :S. I haven't even dreamt about it. Well, I had a dream that one of my sisters was getting married but what the heck. I don't even remember what I was doing.

A so so day

Today was a so so day in my IB career. No homework was due today (yeah!). However, they give me my grade on the TOK essay which was 20/40 :(. But there were some people that got below 20 but some that got more than 30 like Astrid, Andres and Katie because really I don't know. Well, Andres naturally gets outstanding grades in everything and you can't argue with that.

Whatever. Yeah, thank you Sonia to remind me that these grades are just numbers. Numbers that I am going to eventually forget. I mean, who remembers their 6th year grades? Anyone?
What I and you will never forget is the love of the Lord. He will never forget us as we can forget some stuff. Grades will always be grades which will stay on Earth and the love will always be love and love is God.

He lives!

A rest

phew... now I am resting. I thought that this week was going to be heavier. And now I figure out that next week is going to be the heaviest since almost all the exams that were for this week were move to next week. I think that my rest day is thursday since I don't get too much homeworks except CAS diary. Teachers don't like to mark homeworks on Friday because they want you to work on the weekend. The worst thing is that all teachers think the same.
Today I saw how Andrew talk Italian. That was kind of freaky but at the end the video that he was doing for his history asignment was cool.
So...TOK essay done, heavy assignments are over but... exams are not over yet :(. I did the Biology test today and it was kind of so so. There was multiple choice questions and then some data interpretation and the draw the membrane and all that stuff. I kind of forget some things but whatever, the exam that is worth 60% of the cal is over. The day before yesterday I did the java computers exam and i was kind of hard. The program did not work and I kind of forget some things. But there was multiple questions in the exam so I hope that helps. Obviously that I will bajar mucho my grade in y11, but I am not the only one. I might get to a 7 but I don't want to fail any subject.

Can't wait for this cal to be over. But I realise that when I finish school, I will have to college, perhaps staying in here in the UCA (say these letters in english, it makes it sound more prestigious) or out the country sorrounde with strangers.

I read some of your comments concerned with my dog. He is now fine and prepared to fight again. Thank you for your support. God bless you.

Poor Bumba!

My dog, Bumba (black chow chow) has its foot very lastimada and inflamada. I don't know why and the worst is that he can't walk. He passes all day lay down. I seen his effort to walk towards the food and I thought the harmed foot was because he got into a fight with another dog. Then I analyse it and it can't be possible because what dog would want to bit only his foot. When bumba gets into a fight, other dogs bit his back and body but never his foot because he is smaller than the other dog. So I hope it recovers, or otherwise I will take him to the vet. Bumba has a lot of diseases but not as impacting as this one. Once he got scratch on his face made by another dog as always. One day fur was all bitten perhaps by another dog cause you could see the saliva all over him. One time his testes looked bad cause the fur was falling down and the vet pressumed that it was because the weather. But I hope he gets out of this one. This harmed foot is very inflamada. It is bigger than the other one. From now on, I will restrict his going outs to the street.

Oh well...

...a promise is a promise. And nothing more. How was my week? Here are the highlights of this week:
  • Began the week with a BAD mood
  • Gave the TOK essay on monday (celebrate!)
  • Did my load of homeworks without cheating (copying notes from the internet)
  • did the GNS exam
  • did an english commentary on class
  • did my PSAT (by the way, James Joyce the pervert came to visit us in a question)
  • James Joyce was discussed in TOK (boys in my class get crazy when they find a phallic symbol in Joyce's writings)
  • Superman actor died
  • Fellowship at my cousin's house
  • discovered that I don't understand maths that easily (i am so worried, so does my teacher)

I am falling down...but the Lord lifts me up!
So that means I don't have to worry about maths and other things. I will understand because the Lord will lift me everytime I fall. So precious to have a friend like that. Thanks Lord.

My apologies, ladies and gentlemen

Apologies for not posting for a long time.
As I said in the previous post, I am having a freaky IB week.
Promise to tell ya more when I have time.
Red is my colour (does not mean that is my favourite colour, although red is one of my favourites).
Because I haven't post, I am making it up by reading your posts.

I am now recovered

I now feel better cause I slept from 5 pm to 9 pm. Yeah! A good sleep was good for my body. I am preparing myself for the next two weeks full of exams and homework.
This recent days I have only slept like 4-5 hours because of homework and school. I blame the teachers. But working hard has its reward. Today I got only one pc (only one?!) for being the only one who did notes and read until "the boarding house" in "dubliners". But I feel fine because I was the only person who did complete notes about it. I spended a whole day reading that book and making notes. Others don't care CAUSE THEY HAVEN'T WAKE UP IN THE FREAKY WORLD FROM THE IB!!! Is so FREAKY!!! IS AN UNCONTROLLABLE ROLLER COASTER!!! But a good ride makes me happy so I will have to get over it and risk my life.

Yesterday I was talking in the bus about thrillers. I am not a huge fan of them and I ocssionally watch them to prove my bravery or just to see scary plots. We agreed that the most scary one is "the Ring". Yes, is the one of the phone and the video. After the movie I assure you that you would not want to sleep next to a phone or next to the television. Honestly I haven't seen it. I did not want to risk myself to watch it in cinemark. But I will wait for it on tv or in filming society if they are willing to put it.

Today I did CAS minor in the juniors. Kids do not know how to use a computer yet. I have to tell them that the computer is your friend. They do not really understand but they will one day.

It rained again. So sad. I feel that is like an alusion to Noah's ark, when God tried to clean the world from sinners. I think that he is just sending the message again so it reminds the Christians to take action and help others to follow the path to God. And also that whe it rains, we have to stand firmly and not stand on sand because we are going to sink. Stand on rock. God is my rock. Who is your rock?

If you ever...

...want to be so squeezy in a simple easy peasy step go and suck a lemon!! *laughs maniatically, revealing a paralysed tongue swirling around her sour and bitter lips*

Anonymous

Had a bad hair day

This may have been the most horrible day of the year. This is what I went through:
  • Argued about a stupid CAS thing about me doing everything
  • Went to lunch and my butt was full of white powder (my cocaine perhaps ;) )
  • My math folder became a mess when I threw it to free my stress from the people that were around me.
  • Went to the exhausting CAS
  • Returned late to school. My bus going home was in a hurry so I hurried to. Ran to the locker took my book and closeD the locker...wait...where is...MY PADLOCK! I serach for it deseperately and did not find it :(. All that I left were my books but my locker are the ones who opens freely so I wish it does not rain. I am very worried now
  • My saldo of mobile expired. I hate to buy another one.
  • Doing the PE homework
  • Worried about TOK essay.

I will go to suck a lemon! Bye and take care. GBY.

Was I...about to die?

All of you are thinking that in some event of your life you were about to die. Except of car accidents, which other event have you lived where you were about to die? Is because, all of us have pass through a car accident.

Believe it or not, I was about to die about a year ago and I found about it today. How? Look at la prensa grafica at page 26 and the article also appears in El Diario de hoy (i dunno the page). Is about Vioxx, a drug contra la artritis. In a recent research made in the USA, it was revealed that this drug has side effects such as problemas cardiacos y cerebrovasculares.

How is this drug related to me? As much of you know, I was operated a year ago. When I was recovering, life was so hard. And I mean it. I had a lot of calambres in all my body, and my muscles and bones hurt. My brain was very inactive. I was bad at school. I missed school a week and I felt that I missed the whole year. I was failing. I had a very ugly and large scar on my neck. I gained weight. My neck was inflamada and thick. I wanted to die.

But my doctor prescribed my a medicamento (drug). It was called Vioxx. I, of course, took it. But I only took two pills. Anyway, the doctor said that I should only take two and no more if the pain was still on. And the pill did not help me against the pain. So I stopped taking it. And I stored it for future reference.

Then I was recovering (very slow). It takes about a year to recover everything. And now I am here, but still with a scar and without my glands for making hormones.

And now I read this article. I found it cool that I was taking that killing pill! But is sad that I only took two cause the newspaper says that the people start having symptoms after 18 months of taking it. Anyway, the pill is very expensive. 7 pills for $15. And is a killing pill.

I also feel thankful to God that I am not dead or suffer any deadly symptoms. I now feel Him protecting me. If I had die, my family would have sued the pill company and won millions. JAJAJA.

PD. I still have 5 pills for the people who wants to buy it from me if you are thinking of a painful long suicide.

Just look at it!

Don't you just hate when the so called Guardians of the Environment do their pizza sales? Apart of blocking the corridor, they create their rubbish of pizza boxes. I also blame the ones who buy them because each time you buy tha pizza, they give the little ugly carton saying pizza hut, bajo el techo rojo solo las mejore pizzas. I also see that after the sale, there is the big pile of 10 pizza boxes and the worst thing is that they are so many that they do not fit into the big rubbish bin. That bin is so big as I am.

I am not sure yet which guardian commitee sale the pizzas. Is the rubbish committie? This is so Ironic!

Well I am more or less in the asthetics committee and when we paint the wall, I will make sure that the paint does not harm the ozone layer.

And please do not waste $1 in buying those pizzas. The most pathetic people are the ones who spend more than $1. If the pizzas where brought with a plastic reusable container, I would be glad to buy one.

Rage Blackouts

I suffer from Rage Blackouts, like Summer from the OC. So freak out when when you see me holding in my hand a fork cause I will jam it onto your eye!! Then I will freak out let it go!

Yeah, I read the news. Real Madrid, my football team, is going through its bad moments and Barca is going to their best times. Shouldnt it be the other way around?

Today there is no school. I watched Once and Again, a not interesting television serie that only shows up at 11 am. The program is nothing new, just a mother and father that get marry and they each have two kids from their first marriage. The kids (well they are teenagers, like "step by step" but without any comedy) of course, do not get well along. And all the paja that gringos repeat.

Also the film 13 going to 30, starring Jennifer Garner. Stupid american romantic comedies. Just the same plot and the same happy ending. Is about this 13 year old girl who wants to be 30 so she can be pretty and have a great body and his best friend called Matt from high school is then ignored. You can see in this film that there is a little of stupid american teenager story. Just like the film thirteen (another film, not the one of Jenniffer Garner) where a 13 year old girl wants to be popular so when she finally gets to be friends with the most popular and crazy girl at school, so she gets so happy and copies her style and everything which is to wear piercings, wild clothes, smoke, drink, drugs, etc. Then both of them ignore their families, kill school, etc. Typical american movie, eh?

There has been a lot of movies where kids turn into adults or they transform to another person. From the film Big with Tom Hanks to Hot Chick and 13 going to 30. From all these types of movies I like better Face Off with Nicolas Cage and John Travolta. Playing to be a criminal when you are a policemen or vice versa can be tough.

Talking about movies, I was reading the review from the Fight Club from arjcandyman. I love that movie cause I love Edward Norton and Brad Pitt. JAJAJAJA. Why dont they put some soap on their eyes and cry? And also I would like to read a review from Edward Scissorhands (those scissors are so awesome!).

This blog is actually only about movies. My blog loves to talk about movies and tv. Back to do some homework.
Bye and God bless you!

Right...

...I said that this will not become a personal journal. I will have to make an exception since people are too blind or are not just here to see what I am going through.

Boring saturday:

  • started to wake up at 10 o'clock and failed to go to the gym at 7 o'clock.
  • Went to my restaurant and soportar all these customers and the people working there
  • Turned off an invitation to go to the church meeting again
  • Wanted to go to the gym again but it was closed (at what time do they close, before 4 o'clock?
  • Finished reading Clay from Dubliners
  • Dance a bit with DDR max (which by the way, is kind of easy peasy compared to the first edition)
  • Walked Kansas my dog to go to poop and bark to another dogs
  • Watched blocked channels like cinecanal and movie city (no playboy available)
  • Tried to do homeworks but nah, too boring
  • Watched Simone
  • Wrote this blog at 12:30 am

Well basically my life by the moment is a cliche. Is not that original since nothing new is going to happen.

What if I was a computer program of 1 and 0 like Simone. Or live in a fake world like in The Truman Show where everyone is acting fake at me and I am the only one real. I would love that. No mistakes in my life and everyone would love me. But that would not make me happy. Can you figure out why?

Bored with load of homeworks

Today I have a lot of homework to do for Tuesday since monday is inset day for the freaky teachers. But I do believe that I will finish them on sunday to have monday free.
The math exam was not that terrible. I got a 85% and my class average was 70 something, not sure. The problem is that miss bradburn said that she made it too easy. Yeah, she is right. A couple of questions were easy peasy. But some were.... :S

I have to also start my eggplant article about the technology at school. Laptop, smartboards, one computer in each classroom... wow! Imagine if they install bathrooms that are super clean and without any obnoxious smell. That would be the best.

I decided to take the PSATS. Giving a shot won't hurt me or kill me. Then I will see what to do next.

School lessons are getting me bored especially spanish. I will rebel and pierce my tongue. Yeah! It will be a candy-like thing sticked on mytongue. But I don't think that now is the time to do it. But I want to do it before I die.

By the way, my favourite colour is not green. I just said that it was good for me but I did never said that is my favourite. Apologies to my real favourite colours, red and blue.

Lemons!

This is not an ordinary blogspot. It does not become like my secret journal. It does not have quotes of people that I do not know. This blog just communicates what I want you to read.

"Whatever" you might say...

but let me tell you little facts about this blogspot:

  • The phrase "easy peasy lemon squeezy" came from my best and funny IGCSE geography teacher.
  • I think green is good for my eyes (it looks so natural, like lemon!)
  • I want to have green eyes like many characters from the book "Dubliners"
  • I read all comments that you post in this blogspot (thanks to person x for making the first comment in this website
  • This blogspot does not usually have big over-loaded text that bores you when you begin to read it.
  • This blogspot loves to have bullet points
  • This blogspot does not like publishing names, except mine

"What-ever!!" you will say again.

Well yesterday was a normal day. Again, I was struggling for having two computers with internet because only one works. I was trying to imitate a technician (I dont need one, and you neither) and I finally fixed the problem (but the problem is that I do not know the problem itself). I hope it does not get arruinado again.

I was also wondering to take the PSATs or not. I do not know what my future is. I admit that I am too afraid to think about it.

Well, here comes the end of this blog. Do not worry. Another blog from mine will grow outside your window tomorrow. See ya and God bless you!

Doubts

I am in a lot of doubt lately....

I mean, how high is the sky?

how squeezy a lemon can be?

how many things can be easy peasy?

where do we come from?

who lives in a pineapple under the sea?

is there really a God looking at us right now?

well, is not bad to do all these questions. Not all of us have an answer.
But go for God. He has all the answers.

Cool!!

In my laptop, I installed a messenger that the school hasnt block. I only use it to fregar la lorena. So nothing is new in ITGS. Mr. SB has his baby already so he is not here. I have a few homeworks today so I am going to take a sleep in the afternoon or I will continue writing posts. Yeah!
Also I feel pity to the ones who do not have a laptop because they dont know how much fun I am having!!

So much for my happy ending

HOW DID A MEMORY SO CLOSE TO ME JUST FADE AWAY!!
Solo lo pongo para fregar.
I do not want to post my thoughts so go away. You are not so welcome in here.

testing, testing

Is this being published?
