Being in another country without my dad or mum is really weird especially when you are in San Francisco. Here are the list of the differences I have found between SF and ES:
People do not look at you like a weird chinese girl, they just ignore you.
The weather is cooler and cloudy. I miss the tropical weather.
The city is full of tall buildings which are actually stores.
I can watch the new seasons of Smallville, Desperate Housewives, and some other shows earlier (usually they take 2 months to be aired in ES).
I can watch 3 episodes of The Simpsons in a night (In ES only 2).
I have to spend more time on food (cook it, eat it and then wash the dishes)
I can take the public transportation without a problem (I hate salvadorean public transportation).
I enjoy Jamba juice and daily special on Subway.
SF has weird stores where they sell weird stuff. Now that it is halloween time, they are selling halloween stuff which are creepy.
I miss football!!! SF only talk about their boring american football, it sucks!!
People in SF express their emotions freely. There are many gays in castro street.
Muni is way too expensive!!
I have to wash my clothes and I cannot wear the same shirt 2 times a week because laundry is only done once a week.
Driving in SF is a chaos (according to what I have seen) and driving in the city is worse.
Well my time in SF is going to end soon and I haven't done much. So ciao.

Hope you are enjoying your time in SF. And I suppose that it's getting coooooold.... I miss the tropical weather too. I'm missing pupusas too, but not as much this year, because I managed to get a pack of pupusas Maria congeladas. Jejeje...
