SF update

An update? yeah, that sounds and looks weird. Nothing is new here.

Actually, being in SF was great, except for the part where they send you to buy stuff. I did that in the last minute after lazying around in the morning while my sisters went to study. However, I wasn't lazying around, I caught up with some candy videos that were stolen from me. I also read some ice breakers from my sister's old church, which she doesn't go there anymore because the meetings starts too late and the place is very far away. I actually met the guy that introduce her to that church and invited me but he forgot to call us back. My sister then told me that he was always like that. Anyway, we made plans of going to Concord that same day but we did neither therefore we did more appointed shopping.

So let's see what I did: I went to fisherman's wharf, the only tourist place in SF. Is fun. If I considered to live in SF, I would go to fisherman's anytime I want to. But actually, I think I am going to study in Concord (outside SF and quite far). So goodbye fisherman's and I will forget the idea of walking from pier 1 to pier 39 (exercise) because there are lots of people jogging, skating, etc. Chinatown hasn't changed a thing since I went there for the first time. Small and dirty.

The best thing that happened in SF was going to The Killers concert! It was worth every cent from the $30. I would have never got that from El Salvador. The bad thing was that they were promoting their new second album and I got it few days before the concert. So I was listening hardly to the new songs. They also appeared in SNL, which was a good thing and I recorded it (yes, so I could enjoy the concert to the last minute). Well, they were awesome!! They sang few of the old songs too. I hated the crowd. They were so quiet and didn't get crazy like I did. Probably because I don't get this in El Salvador. Lucky gringos.

Also I had a near death experience. I was going to downtown in the Muni with my sister when it suddenly stopped after going at a great speed. The worst thing is that I was standing up (I didn't catch a seat) but thank God I always grip on the bar. A guy went flying and almost got me because I was on his way. He crashed his back on the muni wall and didn't plan to sue the driver. He kind of had mental problems (before the accident). Well gringos are all weird. They do crazy stuff like shouting in the beach or playing a radio in the muni. They are awful taking orders. That is why I didn't got to eat outside often. Also the young SF major is crazy. He approved gay marriages once but afterwards they were all void and he also wants the whole SF to go free wireless internet.

Well maybe there is more to come if I remember of this experience. And in case you were wondering, I am already back to El Salvador since September 16. I hate taking the red eye because I never sleep. And this time the stupid TACA woman that assigned me my seat was kind of high in her eyes and looked dead so she gave me a middle seat with two strangers. She had no mercy on me. One of the stranger was an old woman from Chalatenango who asked me to fill out her migration and declaration papers and I did so. The other stranger was a woman that was so lazy enough to get up so we could go to the bathroom. I hate TACA and their muchachas and muchachos de avion suck. They sell you sandwiches at 3:00 am while you watch Collateral instead of sleeping!!! And this time there was 2 muchachos, which cause me to laugh in my mind.

And Sonia, sorry I didn't reply to your comment but you never call me even if I am in El Salvador. jaja, maybe you can call me when I settle there for good.
