Snails

It's May already and the rain is still coming and going. And snails are coming from everywhere. ewww. I accidentally stepped on one because it was at night and very dark. I could feel under my shoe the fragile shell that crunched while I stepped on it. Of course, once I realized I stepped on it I immediately lifted up my foot and tried to clean my shoes by rubbing them against the floor while I walked.

Snails are disgusting. In El Salvador there are babosas which are the same as snails without shell. I haven't seen babosas in El Salvador for a long time. And it's funny that this rainy season I get to see more snails than previous ones.

Well, semester is almost over. 2 weeks to go without counting finals. I'll miss DVC. I thought I was going to go far to finish college in a 4 year university but no.


I am going to Berkeley!!!!


That means I am not going far from my sisters and the church congregation that I am currently attending to. God wants me to stay a little longer (I hope a little longer, I like the Bay area). Even though Berkeley has a very liberal environment, I hope I can serve God there.

I think I can still keep the promise I made 2 years ago. We'll see in the next 2 years. I know, 4 years is a long time.
