And I am not sad about it.
This birthday was not that bad. Althought there wasn't any typical celebration with cake and people, it was actually okay. El Salvador won their first match in Copa Oro against Costa Rica, which was sweet. So cake wasn't necessary. The salvadorean sky was also quite clear, compared to the past few days where everything was grey and wet. Also I finished reading a book and now I will download cool apps to my iPod. And Kaka is playing for Real Madrid, even though that was days ago, but still counts towards my birthday happiness.
Could anyone tell me when did Twitter become so famous? I found out it was founded on 2006, but until now I seen a lot of people using it. Maybe the fact that so many famous people and celebrities use it, people decide it to use it as well. A while ago (exactly Friday, October 24, 2008) I said that I liked to post comments instead of blogs because they were quick and straight to the point. So when I heard about Twitter I felt that it was an idea I had on the back of my mind, but it wasn't solid yet. But I have to admit that Twitter is an awesome idea. It would certainly keep my blogging up to date but it will expose a lot of my privacy. And time. So I refuse to use it. And did you know that the people who founded Twitter were former Google employees? In this economy it would be comforting to know that is not the end of the world when you lose your job.
Okay, although birthday is over, summer is not. This past month of May I supposedly finished reading the one-year bible (which I skipped some days, so I haven't really read the whole Bible word by word). Even though I haven't read the whole book, I must admit that the past year I have been reading the Bible more than I had in my entire life. It was awesome. Well, I hope this summer I am able to catch up the chapters I missed and re-read the books the Old Testament that struck me the most (Joshua, Job, Jonah, Daniel, and many more). The Bible is truly the most awesome book I have read in my life. It has lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of things to learn of. But I also promised my little sister to read "One flew over the Cuckoo's nest". Which implies a lot of reading for this summer, something I have never done in the past summers.
